Pinhook Hunting Club LLC, under the direction of Rick Schuerenberg, provided some of the best shooting and hunting
conditions in years during the 2007-08 season. Adequate and maintained water levels in certain fields gave the ducks every
reason to continue to use them throughout the season. For the first time since I joined 3 seasons ago, a limited amount of
standing corn was not harvested in some fields and provided the birds an alternative food source to the Ten Mile Pond
Conservation Area fields. Having food in our hunting fields was THE major factor to our success.
I am very happy to be a member of Pinhook Hunting Club for many reasons. The primary reason is that Rick and his three
partners continually seek to improve the facilities, the shooting and solicit input from the members on how to improve the
hunting. I look forward to, with great enthusiasm, the 2008-09 season and being a member for many years to come.

To have such consistent hunts day in and day out in a short sixty day season is the key to having the best duck club. At
PinHook, the advantage we have is incredible because of the 5000 acre refuge we are engulfed in. Whether were crushing
them in the fields or pounding them in the woods, we kill 99% mallards and try to weed out mostly greenheads. Sounds
cocky, but when its the truth, its hard not to brag. Wont hunt anywhere else the rest of my life.

I have hunted waterfowl in Southeast Missouri since the late 50's in private clubs, farm fields, and around the Mississippi
River. In recent years my hunting has been more wide spread, having hunted in North Dakota, Iowa, Illinois and Arkansas.
The Pinhook Hunting Club is the most diverse and productive hunting clubs I have ever had the pleasure of hunting. Rick is
cordial, professional and best of all knows how to attract a variety of waterfowl. They provide hunting from flooded fields, or
woods, and you can hunt from a heated blind or stand next to timber in the woods. I have great memories from every hunt.
It is a premier waterfowl location and will only get better.
